Change Batches

Use the Change Batches function to replace a batch code with a different batch code or to associate transactions with a different batch. The Change Batches function only appears available if you elect to use batch processing in the Business Rules function.

When you execute the Change Batches function, you are moving all transactions from their current batch to a different batch code.

Change Batches Screen

  1. Select the old batch code from the Old Batch Code field.
  2. Enter or select the code of the new batch from the New Batch Code field.
  3. Determine whether to delete the old batch by placing a checkmark in the Delete Old Batch check box.
    Note: This option is not available if the selected Old Batch Code is ######.
  4. Enter Comments for the batch change, if applicable.
  5. Click a command button to  
    6. Click To
    OK Begin processing the batch.
    Activity Display the Activity Log form to view change batch activity.
    Reset Set all fields to their default values.
