Account Classes

Use the Account Classes function to view and change descriptions of account classes. A class is the general category an account type fits into; for example, long-term asset, current asset, or long-term liability.

You cannot add new classes or delete classes.

ClosedEditing an Account Class
  1. Select a description to edit from the Description field.
  2. Close the screen to save any changes made to the account class.
ClosedProduce an Account Class List

Print the Account Class List to view and verify the account classes available to you in the Setup and Maintenance Account Classes function.

  1. Select the print preview button () to preview the list. This is only applicable in the Filter view.
  2. The preview report screen appears.
  3. Select the print button ( ) in the toolbar to print your list.
