Point of Sale Installation and Configuration

The Traverse Point of Sale (POS) application uses a distributed architecture that allows transactions to take place at remote terminals.

Use this section to configure the registers or terminals for Point of Sale transactions. You will also need to set up the connection between the Traverse server in the back office and the registers or terminals in the local office. Some distributed networks may also include a database on each terminal that holds data from the terminal transactions until the data is synchronized to the back office database.
