Hazardous Material Codes

Use the Hazardous Material Codes function to maintain the codes used for hazardous materials to be put on the bill of lading set up in the Warehouse Management application. These codes can also be applied to inventory items for safety purposes. The codes are pre-populated with known values normally used on the bill of lading.

ClosedCreating a Hazardous Material Code
  1. Click the New button, on the toolbar, to open a blank hazardous material code record.
  2. Enter a code for the new hazardous material in the Code field.
  3. Enter a description for the new hazardous material in the Description field.
  4. Click the Save button, on the toolbar, to save the new hazardous material code.
ClosedEditing a Hazardous Material Code
  1. Select a hazardous material code to edit from the Code field.
  2. Edit the fields as necessary.
  3. Click the Save button, on the toolbar, to save any changes made to the hazardous material code.
ClosedDeleting a Hazardous Material Code
  1. Select a hazardous material code to delete from the Code field.
  2. Click the Delete button, on the toolbar, to delete the selected hazardous material code.
  3. Click Yes at the "Are you sure you want to delete selected record(s)?" prompt.
ClosedProduce a Hazardous Material Codes List
  1. Select the print preview button () to preview the list of hazardous material codes.
  2. The preview report screen appears.
  3. Select the print button ( ) in the toolbar to print your list.
