Failure Codes

Use the Failure Codes function to create standard codes to identify reasons for equipment failure. You can use the Job Failure Code Interactive View to view failure causes by customer.

Creating a Failure Code

1. Click the New button, on the toolbar, to open a blank failure code record.
2. Enter a new code in the Failure Code field.
3. Enter a description of the new code in the Description field.
4. Use the Save button on the toolbar to save the new code.

Editing a Failure Code

1. Select a code to edit from the Failure Code field.
2. Edit the fields as necessary.
3. Click the Save button, on the toolbar, to save any changes made to the failure code.

Deleting a Failure Code

1. Select a code to delete from the Failure Code field.
2. Click the Delete button, on the toolbar, to delete the selected code.
3. Click Yes at the "Are you sure you want to delete selected record(s)?" prompt.
