Manage Priorities

Use the Manage Priorities function to assign priorities to inspection groups assigned to a particular employee. This allows supervisors to assign priorities to inspection so they show up in a desired order for employees to work on when the users are operating the mobile tablets.

You can use the Manage Priorities function to change the employee to which you have assigned an inspection group.

To assign a user or set/change priorities for an inspection group:

  1. Select an employee or an inspection queue that has already been assigned in the Assigned To drop-down list, or leave blank to return all records.
  2. Select a Location ID from the drop-down list, or leave blank to return all records.
  3. The job transactions that meet the criteria will appear. Use the Clear Inspection Priorities button to remove any inspection priority settings for the jobs, if necessary.
  4. Select Assignment priority to organize tasks based on Inspection priority and Job priority in order. If Assignment Priority is not set, it will default to Inspection Priority. If Inspection Priority is also not set, it will then use Job Priority. If none of these priorities are set, the task will be considered the least priority.
  5. Select a job transaction's inspection group record you want to edit.
  6. Select an employee to which you want to assign the inspection group from the Assigned To drop-down list, as applicable.
  7. Enter a numeric Inspection Priority setting, if applicable.
  8. Save your changes.
