Breaks

Use the Breaks function to set up break parameters. For each work schedule ID, you can set up a lunch break, as well as additional break(s). You can select a job transaction or a labor code for the additional breaks, though only one job or labor code is allowed for each work schedule ID.

Note: All times are entered in 24 hr format.

  • To set up a break:
    1. If applicable, select an open job transaction from the OH Job drop-down list.
    2. If applicable, select a labor code from the Labor Code drop-down list.
    3. Note: If an OH Job and Labor Code are included, the time for all breaks will be allocated to the selected job using the entered labor code.

    4. Enter the break start and stop times as necessary in the Break Start and the Break Stop columns.
  • To set up a lunch break, enter the lunch start and stop times in the Lunch Start and the Lunch Stop fields.
  • If Auto Calc Breaks and/or Auto Calc Lunch check boxes are marked, the time entered for the break will be automatically subtracted from employee labor entries.
