Nameplates
Use the Nameplate function to create field names for nameplate information. The field names will be available when a new nameplate is entered during a job transaction. Field names with an associated lookup will give the user a drop-down list of options for the selected nameplate field.
Creating a Nameplate field
- Click the New button, on the toolbar, to open a blank nameplate field.
- Enter a name for the field in the Field Name column.
- Select a nameplate lookup code from the Lookup Code drop-down list to offer the user choices for the field value, if applicable.
- Click the Save button, on the toolbar, to save the new field name.
Editing a Nameplate field
- Select a field name to edit from the Field Name column.
- Edit the fields as necessary.
- Click the Save button, on the toolbar, to save any changes made to the field name.
Deleting a Nameplate field
- Select a code to delete from the Field Name column.
- Click the Delete button, on the toolbar, to delete the selected field name.
- Click Yes at the "Are you sure you want to delete selected record(s)?" prompt.
