Nameplates

Use the Nameplate function to create field names for nameplate information. The field names will be available when a new nameplate is entered during a job transaction. Field names with an associated lookup will give the user a drop-down list of options for the selected nameplate field.

Creating a Nameplate field

  1. Click the New button, on the toolbar, to open a blank nameplate field.
  2. Enter a name for the field in the Field Name column.
  3. Select a nameplate lookup code from the Lookup Code drop-down list to offer the user choices for the field value, if applicable.
  4. Click the Save button, on the toolbar, to save the new field name.

Editing a Nameplate field

  1. Select a field name to edit from the Field Name column.
  2. Edit the fields as necessary.
  3. Click the Save button, on the toolbar, to save any changes made to the field name.

Deleting a Nameplate field

  1. Select a code to delete from the Field Name column.
  2. Click the Delete button, on the toolbar, to delete the selected field name.
  3. Click Yes at the "Are you sure you want to delete selected record(s)?" prompt.
