Change Invoice Status
Use the Change Invoice Status function to change the status of invoices for a range of vendors and vendor priorities as of a specified due date. If you do not enter a date, the status of all invoices for the specified ranges will be changed. To change the status of one transaction, use the Hold/Release Invoices function.
A temporary invoice is one that is held for one payment cycle. When you post payments, the status of the invoice is automatically changed to Released. You cannot change the status of a group of invoices to Prepaid because information about each payment is required; use the Hold/Release Invoices function to change the status of invoices to Prepaid.
You cannot use this function to change the status of a group of invoices to Prepaid because information about each check is required. Instead, use the Hold/Release Invoices function to change the status of invoices to Prepaid.
- Select the range of vendors whose transaction status you want to change from the Vendor ID From and Thru fields.
Note: Leave the fields blank to include all vendors. - Select the range of priority codes corresponding to the transaction to change from the Priority Code From and Thru fields.
Note: Leave the fields blank to include all priority codes. - Select the due date of the transactions whose status you want to change from the Select Invoice Due field.
Invoices due on or before this date will be included in the status change.
Note: If you do not enter a date, the status of all invoices for the specified ranges changes. - Select the current status of the transactions from the Change Status From field.
- Select the new status of the transactions from the Change Status To field.
- Click OK to change the status of the invoice.
