TRAVERSE Global v11.1

Interactive Financial Statements

Use the Active command to produce interactive financial statements that you can d rill through to view the underlying data. This command works with both the statements included in General Ledger with any statements you create.

When you click Active, the statement appears in a window similar to the Print Preview window. To drill down to more detailed information, double-click any value printed in blue. Depending on what the value represents, one of the following occurs:

  • If the value represents a year-to-date total, the Account Balance View screen appears and lists the balances for that account for all periods.
  • If the value represents a period-to-date total, the Transaction View screen appears and lists the transactions contributing to that total.
  • If the value represents a summed total combing account totals or totals from more than one company, a selection box appears from which you can select the account or company total you want to view. To sort the list by a column, click the column heading. Double-click the entry for which you want to view details to open the Account Balance View screen for that entry.
  • If the value represents a calculated number (a percent, for example), the formula used to calculate that value appears in a dialog box.

You cannot print the statement directly when you use the Active command. Instead, return to the Financial Statements screen and use the Print command to print a copy of the statement.
